There's a crafting system in the Tower of Erudico that uses separate resources to get you permanent bonuses or new artifacts. There's a new set of 9 abilities that anyone can learn, but have to be unlocked first. ![]() That avoids issues in the first game where you could just spend time doing nothing to get resources and how bad theft luck could result in losing a bunch of stuff. Now instead of resource upkeep and resource gain over time, you just spend a flat amount to get a new building.
